KOSED ja JOAD.
Neid loetakse Oregonis 238, nagu Wikipedia ütleb. Ebaproportsionaalselt suur hulk üheainsa osariigi kohta! Kõrgeim on Multnomah Falls Oregoni/Washingtoni piiril, veekukkumist 189 meetrit. Multnomah' koske ületaval puitsillal (foto1, Internetist) on alates 1995st aastats mõneti kuri kuulsus.

Siiski, Mare külaskäigu ajal käisime Koosah Falls'is (fotod 2,3, 4, 5). Vesi kukub seal 25 meetrit. Jõepõhi paiguti türkiissinine (laavaliiv!), mets ümberringi muinasjutuline. Õhk nii kerge hingata, et. Eks me jah hakkame noid Oregoni koski siin tasapisi avastama.

STATE of WATERFALLS.
That's how Oregon can easily be called. Wikipedia  is counting 238. Multnomah' Falls (photo 1, Internet) is the tallest, 620 feet altogether. Ouch, read this! "On Labor Day in September 1995, a 400-ton boulder, loosened by erosion, fell 225 feet  from the face of the waterfall into the upper cascade pool, above Benson Bridge. It caused a 70-foot  splash of water and gravel to wash over the footbridge, causing minor injuries to twenty members of a wedding party that happened to be on the bridge posing for photos at the time." Day to remember for sure...:)

Few weeks ago, Mare, Paul and I visited Koosah Falls near our home (photos 2, 3, 4, 5). It's a beautiful 80 ft fall surrounded with perfect fairy tale forest. Air is just thick of negative ions (which is a positive thing of course:). Makes it soooo easy to breath. Yep, being Oregonians now Paul and I have lots of waterfall-exploring to do for sure.
