Eelmise postituse sissejuhatuse copy-paste passib ideaalselt ka käesoleva hakatuseks:
"OREGONI OSARIIGI SEADUSANDLUSEGA tutvumine (ja lugejatele tutvustamine) on ainumas põhjus, miks järgnev postitus mu blogis on. Puudub vähimgi seos meie hiljutise kolimisega Oregoni."
KANEP EILSEST OREGONIS LEGAALNE - 04. novembri rahvahääletuse tulemusel.
Kanepi tarvitamine avalikus kohas ning mootorsõiduki juhtimine kanepi mõju all on keelatud.
Eelpool käib jutt 'vaba aja veetmise kanepist' (recreational marijuana). Meditsiinilise kanepi on tänaseks seadustanud 23 osariiki 50st, 17 osariiki on kanepi-küsimuse osaliselt dekriminaliseerinud.

Copy-paste from Introduction to my previous blog post suits well this post too:
"OREGON STATE LAW(s) and getting myself (and my readers) acquainted with it is one and only reason why this post is here in 5500 (no need to draw any connections between the info below and us moving to Oregon.)"
MARIJUANA LEGAL in OREGON - since yesterday.
/.../Voters in ALASKA, OREGON, and the DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA voted to legalize marijuana for recreational use Tuesday, following in the footsteps of COLORADO and WASHINGTON, which legalized the drug in 2012./.../
/.../The measure, which will not take effect until JULY 1, 2015, allows adults 21 and older to possess 1 ounce of recreational marijuana in public and up to 8 ounces at home as well as a variety of other marijuana-infused products and up to four Cannabis plants./.../
/.../The Oregon Liquor Control Commission will get the job of regulating marijuana production and sales. Tax revenue generated by marijuana will go to public schools; mental health and addiction services; law enforcement; and the Oregon Health Authority. Using marijuana in public or while driving will be prohibited. Current medical marijuana laws won't change./.../
/.../Medical marijuana is currently legal in 23 states and the District of Columbia, and 17 have moved to decriminalize the drug to varying degrees./.../
